Episode 1
EXT. A DRIVING SEDAN ON ROAD. DAY
CLAIRE YOUNG, a granny of 65 years old, is at the wheel. She turns the wheel and the car parks into a 2-car garage. She is just returning from grocery shopping.
The camera continues exploring the big house, goes around its side towards the backyard. Beyond the backyard is a ravine with dense trees and bushes.
Suddenly a shadowy figure is moving between the trees and seems to be approaching the house.
The sound of vegetables and fruits drop into a kitchen sink is heard, the camera pans towards the source.
EXT. OUTSIDE OF CLAIRE'S KITCHEN WINDOW. DAY
Claire is scared away from the kitchen window and peeks through from the side and staring at the shadowy figure in the ravine around 30 yards away.
With dense trees and bushes, this ravine is rather dark, even during the day.
She grabs her phone and dials immediately.
EXT. CELIY IN HER JEEP. DAY
CELIY MARCQS's phone rings. As she carefully parks on the driveway, she takes out the phone and looks at the screen.
CELIY
Aunty Claire, I am here, just parked on the driveway.
CLAIRE (O.S)
(Whispering)
Celiy… Come in quickly.
CELIY
Why are you whispering? What's wrong?
ANNA AVALOS, Claire's 10 years old granddaughter, grabbing her school pack, stepping out of the jeep, and runs towards the front door and opens it.
CLAIRE (O.S.)
(Whispering)
I think someone is in the ravine… and watching us…
CEILY
What?
She opens the car door and let OJ, her grandfather, who is suffering from dementia, out and leads him into the house.
ENT. CLAIRE'S KITCHEN. DAY
Claire and Celiy occupies respectively each side of the kitchen window and peeking through into the ravine.
CLAIRE
Do you see… him?
CELIY
Yes… He is not trespassing…
CLAIRE
Do you think he is dead?
CELIY
Has he moved after you discovered him?
CLAIRE
I don't think so.
CELIY
Oh, he just moved… I am going to take a closer look…
we need to find out what's going on…
She gingerly walks to the backdoor and opens it.
CLAIRE
Be careful!
(After second thought)
I am coming with you.
Picking up a broomstick from behind the door, she follows Ceily out.
Noises from the TV room indicate Anna and OJ are playing computer games together.
EXT. IN THE RAVINE. DAY
Celiy and Claire are staring at a MAN, probably in his 70s, who is now sitting on the ground and back against the tree trunk, obviously has passed out.
With a pair of gold rimmed glasses, he looks like a scholar.
Celiy tries to wake him up by gently rocking his shoulder. The Man mourns and Celiy finds his dark suite lapel is soaked with blood.
CELIY
(showing palm to Claire)
Blood! We need to call the police.
THE MAN
(suddenly gaining energy)
No! No Police!
CELIY
You are wounded, you need hospital…
THE MAN
No Hospital! No Police!
CELIY
But you lost a lot of blood, we need to address your
wound right away!
Celiy and Claire help him up and walk him into the house.
INT. CLAIRE'S LIVINGROOM. DAY
As Claire takes care of the Man's wound, Celiy takes her cell phone and pressed a button. The screen comes up.
(Dial 5G)
She presses another button.
DETECTIVE 5G
Giorgio Cinque.
CELIY
We need your help!
EXT. THE RAVINE BEHIND THE HOUSE. DAY
DETECTIVE GIORGIO CINQUE, nick-named Detective 5G, in his 30s, is a tall and slim person. He walks around the tree that the wounded man had leaned on. He Systematically examines the surrounding area.

Celiy walks to him.
CELIY
Did you find anything?
DETECTIVE 5G
(shaking his head)
There is no blood on the ground. He definitely lost a
lot of blood.
They walk to the edge of the ravine where it begins to slant drastically toward the dried riverbed. Detective 5G surveys the landscape, its mainly greens that belong to the Thornhill Golf Club. They see no other houses in sight, except several tall office/commercial buildings about 2 miles away.
It seems people still playing on the farthest green, because Detective 5G noticed some kind of light reflections flickering among the bushes and trees by the edge of that green.
They begin to walk back to the house. Detective 5G is making a call.
CELIY
Who are you calling?
DETECTIVE 5G
Hey, Josh, this is 5G, I need information from you.
Do you have any homicide case just happening or
recent case near the golf club? Please call me back
right away, it is urgent.
He closes the phone.
DETECTIVE 5G
I am calling Constable Josh Sloan, York Region Police
Department. We used to work together for about a year.
INT. CLAIRE’S HOUSE. DAY
As the back door opened, Celiy can hear the excited noises the Gamers make while working on their game console.
ANNA (O.S.)
Quick! Quick! Shoot! Shoot!
OJ (O.S.)
Yee… Ahh…

(with a grin)
Now they are game buddies!
DETECTIVE 5G
What are they shooting at?
CELIY
Have no idea!
Celiy opens the Study Room door, they set up a cot bed for the unconscious man to rest. But the noise from the Gamers seems disturbed him. He tosses and turns in the bed and mourning.
Detective 5G following Celiy enters the Study Room, and because the gamers’ noises, begins to close the door.
Anna’s extreme loud yell bursts into the room.
INSERT – Several seconds of Game video capture.
ANNA (O.S.)
Kill them Nazis! Kill them Nazis!
OJ (O.S.)
Yee… Ahh…
The Man suddenly sits upright, eyes open, and murmurs 2 words.
THE MAN
Doppelte Siegrune
Immediately he collapses back on bed and returns to unconsciousness again.
CELIY
Did he say a real word? Or just murmurs? What
language was he speaking? I know it is not Ojibwe.
DETECTIVE 5G
Sounds like ‘toppled sigmoon’.
CELIY
What language?
CLAIRE
I know what it is, it’s German… doppelte siegrune.
DETECTIVE 5G
Oh No!... we may be all in danger! we have to move him to
a safer place.
CELIY
What does that mean…
CLAIRE
Double siegrune… double ‘S’, it refers to SS, the Nazi
Military Police.
DETECTIVE 5G
God Damn it! Josh, Call me!
The phone vibrates in his pocket… He answers…
